The picture on the above right was taken in our customer's home. A visual inspection of the dryer vent exhaust from the ground level indicated NO signs of blockage. However, after using our professional tools to clean this dryer vent were able to remove all of the lint seen above and reduced a most certain fire hazard in their home. Dryer lint build up is much more common than most homeowners realize.
When is the last time you had your dryer vent cleaned? The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) along with other entities in fire safety recommend you clean your dryer vent duct "Once a year, or more often (if you notice that it is taking longer than normal for your clothes to dry), clean lint out of the vent pipe or have a dryer lint removal service do it for you."

The Consumer Products Safety Commission states "Fires can occur when lint builds up in the dryer or in the exhaust duct. Lint can block the flow of air, cause excessive heat build-up, and result in a fire....".
